Why did the turkey cross the road?

To get to Green Lake of course. One of the recent marketing and design campaigns we have been working on is for the Green Lake Gobble & Mashed Potato Munch Off. Having designed the marketing materials last year for the successful first running of the event, we came back this year to add a bit more beef...make that turkey to the visual identity of the event. Leveraging the two new turkey costumes that our client purchased, we highlighted and dropped into the marketing materials the cut out images of two people dressed in turkeys to make it look like they were at the event last year. Using an electric yellow as the outline, the viewers eyes gets drawn to the images of the turkeys, thereby providing support to the whimsical fun of the event. The race takes place this Sunday (Nov 21st) and we are confident that it will show plenty of growth over the great numbers it had last year.

Peaking in on a new brewery

There's a new peak in town that we think you should climb. It's not a peak actually but a new brewery located in the Ballard area of Seattle. The brewery's name is NW Peaks Brewery and we're happy to have had the honor in creating this establishments corporate logo. As of right now, NW Peaks Brewery is definitely a nano-brewery focusing on making enough beer to meet the demand of its MountainBeer's Growler of the Month club. Wanting to create a logo that was clean and recognizable, we focused our attention on the compass arm within the "W" that points to the northwest.

Softened by a monthly supply of good beer each month, we are excited to see how this brewery will grow.
