Like a Nordic speedskating team....
We started our blog post winning a few awards, but in the spirit of shameless self promotion, we thought we would write about the design contest we entered in 2010 and the awards we won. The design contest is the Washington Festivals & Events Association's "Summit Awards". The awards we received for the three items we submitted were:
GOLD MEDAL: t-shirt design for the 2009 Valentine's Day Dash
SILVER MEDAL: t-shirt design for the 2009 12K's of Christmas Holiday Run
BRONZE MEDAL: brochure for the 2009 Valentine's Day Dash
Having gone 3-for-3 for the items that we submitted, we now have a better sense to what the speedskating teams of Northern Europe must deal with. A taste of glory has wet our appetite so much to the point we'll probably enter more. If so, we'll definitely keep you posted on how we do.
